This is the end ! .......


Hi everybody how are you. I hope you are fine. Today is the day I never wanted it to come. Everything has its beginning and its end. It is the cycle of life. This is the life. But it's not a sad blog, It will not be melancholic either. Today I will say goodbye to you my dear friends who love cheese. Half of the year is finished along with this semester, I am happy, excited and enthusiastic. I am happy to know that we share more joyful moments than sad moments. This semester we laugh a lot, have fun and smile together, we must remember this deep in our hearts. This blog experience has been great, is a very good idea and creative, much better than creating dialogues every week jajajaja. In my personal opinion, is a good way to learn how to write words and sentences in English. It is very productive and educational. My writing and writing skills have developed a bit more, I had to make an effort to put words together and put together sentences. However, I think I still have a lot to improve. I congratulate the teacher for this wonderful idea. However, I think that for the future we must make blogs with the subjects that we like the youngest, for example, to consume drugs and alcohol. It is a joke, to make the blogs with the most passionate subjects is very good for us, it encourages us to give our effort to communicate in English the things that we like. I would have liked to write about cheeses, food, burgers, pizzas, tacos, ice cream and desserts. But you can not always and I understand. I have no complaints with the blog, I enjoyed it. As a last message, I want to tell all my colleagues and the teacher that this year has been the course in which I have laughed the most. I will carry those moments in my heart. This is not goodbye, it's a see you soon because I know I'll be back. Love life, be happy and smile because there will always be something at the end of the day that will be worth it.

My favorite movie is......

Hi everyone, I hope you are fine. Today I will talk about my favorite movie ! In first time I tell you why I like this movie. It's a very long movie, has a duration of two hours and forty five minutes. I saw her for the first time in the cinema, imagine more than two and a half hours sitting in the cinema, I got the square ass. The movie is about science fiction, it is a group of astronauts who travels through a wormhole in search of a new home for humanity because life on Earth is threatened by the destruction of crops. Yes ! I will talk about "Interstellar", directed by Christopher Nolan. Has a great cast of actors: Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Michael Caine and Matt Damon. "Interstellar" premiered on October 26, 2014 in Los Angeles. Had numerous nominations, won several awards including the Oscar award for best visual effects. In my opinion, it's a great movie for science fiction lovers. However, many people found it boring because they do not know much about science fiction, "Interstellar" requires a little more knowledge about the universe and its dimensions to understand the scenes. Personally the plot of the film is spectacular, the story is great and unpredictable. I recommend them, see it! GoodBye friends ! That they are well ! 

The topic that I like the most this semester

This semester has been very difficult for all the students of this university. We have had many tests and homeworks in  a very short time. We are very stressed with the university and with all the subjects. However, during this semester we have seen topics that are very interesting for me. Before the university was unemployed for reasons that we will not point out in this blog, My dear English teacher told us about a beautiful place, a place full of history, a place I had never heard of, a Caribbean island, a place called Grenada. Grenade is a country located in the caribbean sea, is close to Venezuela and its capital its Saint George. The island was discovered by Christopher Columbus on August 15, 1498. During the colonial years the island passed from the British Empire to the French Empire and so on until the British Empire gained its definitive dominion in 1783. But the important thing about this story is that the professor told us about a revolution, the 1979 socialist revolution led by Maurice Bishop with the New Jewel Movement. Bishop's socialist government carried out major reforms to boost the country. However, the revolution ended when the United States invaded the country. Maybe the story is a bit sad but it caused something in me, I liked the story so much that I started to investigate, I saw documentaries and videos, I read about the country and I feel like traveling to Grenade. This is how I met a nice place that I want to know, thank you Benji <3

The Music

Hi everyone, I hope you are well.

In this time, I talk about the music. YES! THE MUSIC !!!!!! WOW!

The music is beautiful, it's life, it's emotions, it's joy, it's feeling, it's sadness, it's crying, it's dancing, it's a little soul-shattering. The music is different for each person, there are different tastes so many people exist in the world. I am a special case because the music for me is transitory according to my emotions and feelings. One day I'm happy and the other sad, one day I' wanna dance and another day I' wanna cry, one day I wanna feel the silence and another day I' wanna feel the power. This it´s the music for me, it's a melody that fills my soul, it's rhythm that move my body and it's letter that reaches my heart. I see the music this way because I play guitar and bongo and that allows me to have this sentimental view of things. My tastes are special, they are not well defined because it will depend on many factors so that I like it, for example, lyrics, melody and rhythm. Besides I get bored very fast from the songs so I like many kinds of music. There is something I should have mentioned before, the music is so personal for me for everything it represents that this time I will not tell you what is my favorite song and my favorite band. But I will tell you that in 2010 I went to the concert of Bon Jovi in the "Estadio Nacional", the concert was great !!! great quality and great place for the concert. The best of the concert it's the sandwich "de potito" that I ate in the outside of the stadium !!. I wanna confess something...... I like Lucho Jara and I sing all his songs.

Today I will talk about A photograph that means a lot to me

Before showing the picture, I spent some time thinking about which photo I can share with all of you because I do not usually take pictures of my moments, I prefer to enjoy them and portray them in my memory.

However I found a photograph that I can share with you, pay attention.

Although they do not believe it,

the child that appears there, so tender, so handsome, so cute, with beautiful eyes, perfect hair, a perfect face, That's where I am at the tender age of 14.

This photograph was taken by my mom at the International Motor Show, section racing cars, in the "Espacio Riesco" Located in Santiago of Chile.

This photograph shows when I got into a rally car. As you can see, the interior of the car is completely modified, white gears are anti-roll bars and red seats are made especially for competitions. I still remember the feeling when I sat in front of the steering wheel, my cheese lovers, I'm not going to lie to them, the driver's seat was so hard that I was left with a back pain for 3 days jajajajajaja #AcushionforMatias

I really like this picture because it means a lot to me, I have always liked cars. When I was little I dreamed of driving those cars. When I put my hands on the steering wheel I entered a world in which I always dreamed, the world that I always wanted to belong to, the world which my inner child has always belonged to and will never leave. That is what this photograph represents for me, my joy, my passion and part of my life

I really admire the rally drivers because they are guys who have excellent hands to control the cars at high speeds on dirt tracks, in addition to enter the curves they should put the car on the side skidding the car. That is my specialized commentary jajajajaja maybe this blog should be called another form but do not worry friend, Benji will already let us write about cheeses.

Bread and Rose Film Review

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about the "Bread and Roses" film, written by Paul Laverty, produced by Rebecca O'Brien and directed by Ken Loach,  He is a leading British filmmaker.

In my personal opinion, I like this movie because it helps us reflect on the working conditions of the immigrants, especially the mexicans who come to the United States to reach the "american dream". My favorite character is Sam Shapiro Because he has spent several years fighting against labor exploitation in the Service Employees International Union and he is part of the campaign "Justice for Janitors".

One thing I like is how Sam has the ability to motivate Maya to raise awareness in the workers who must fight against this injustice.

Another thing I like about the movie is the performance of Adrien Brody who interpret the role of Sam Shapiro. Adrien is a great actor and I admire him for his role in the film "The Pianist" directed by Roman Polanski where he won the Oscar Award as best actor.

Sincerely, I did not find anything that I would not like about this movie.

Finally, my favorite scene is when Maya escapes from his captors and leaves one of them without clothes, that was very funny :)

This is my favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is my laptop LENOVO Z40.  I love that laptop it's my friend in my house, I think that sounded very autistic. My family gave me the laptop at Christmas, in 2014. I remember that day as it would have been yesterday. It was beautiful, love at first sight. I use my laptop mainly to play, I have a different racing simulators, I connect my steering wheel and y race with different drivers in the world. I also listen to music, I connect to social networks, I edit the images I do the homeworks for the university and I join in "cheeseoftheworld.com" To know all the news about cheeses. I use my computer every day, I just wake up I turn on my computer and check my emails to know if they cancel the English class when it rains on Thursdays. However, during the week I can not play in the race simulators because I do not have time. I only play on weekends because races last 6 hours, 6 hours!. What I like most about my laptop is the video card that allows me a speed to play, the graphics are incredible. My life without my computer would be very boring, it would be a sad child with nothing to do in his boring house.

About Me

Hi everyone, I,am Matias Soto but my friends tell me "the cheese" because I´am soo bad playing "taca taca".

I have 20 years old, I was born in Santiago of Chile and I was born on March 22, 1997

We are 6 in the family, my beautiful mom, her name is Maria. My stepfather is Alejandro, he lives with us after the separation of my parents. Kathy is my older sister, she is 26 years old. I have two dogs that are like my family. And finally I am the smallest of the family. 

 During my life I was in 4 different schools. In the first place I was in the Royal School. When I was studying at that school I moved to another school, the Salvador Sanfuentes School. After that I went to Internado Nacional Barros Arana and finally I graduated from O'higgins Institute. 

In 2016 I entered  in the University of Chile to study Public Administration.

I like to play guitar and bongos. I like dance in the parties. In the weekends I watch TV, especially car races.
